I didn't have an Owner's Manual or a key to the fork lock when I bought my '98 Savage, either. I went to the dealership and had them order both. Didn't cost much, I think $8 US for the manual and $25 US for the new fork lock. It would be an excellent idea to invest the $$$$ for a Clymer manual in case you want to work on it yourself, like me.
